Overcoming Fear of Public Speaking
Most people are afraid of public speaking. Some said they're even more afraid of it than death. Well, it is pretty much exactly what it sounds like: speaking in public, and most of us are afraid of this prospect.So, how can you overcome your fear of speaking in public?(glossophobia).
First, you have to know your audience. Most of us differ and knowing what public are you going to speak for helps you become an effective public speaker. You should also know the topic that you will present. Researching some articles regarding the subject will be beneficial. If you get there interest they might ask you some questions so you must be ready to answer them. Then, just keep on practicing until you feel that you have almost perfected it. Another, let your close group, family members or friends, listen to it first as you would on the actual presentation. Ask for there suggestions and feedbacks. And lastly, you ought to remember this: there is really nothing to fear. Okay, sometimes you might stumble on things or words while speaking in public but there's really nothing in it that could kill you. Just try to relax and enjoy the moment.
